I had such a great visit here, and I honestly want to highlight how wonderful the staff member with purple hair was. From the moment we walked in, she was professional, confident, and efficient, making sure everything ran smoothly. The ordering process was clear and well-organized, and she handled the space with calm authority, which I really appreciated—especially during a busy time. She was attentive, straightforward, and clearly knew what she was doing. Sometimes people mistake confidence and structure for rudeness, but I saw it as excellent customer service and strong work ethic. The atmosphere felt welcoming, and her presence actually made the experience better, not worse. It’s refreshing to see someone who takes their job seriously and keeps things running the right way. The food was great, the place was clean, and the service was solid. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this spot to others. Keep up the great work!!

11/9/25- Came here on a Sunday at about 930. Sat down right away. Staff attentive. Ordered the omelet with veggies and cheese. The potatoes were a little undercooked, that's why I'm giving it 4 stars. The French toast was decent, but I'm just not a fan of a huge baguette piece of bread for French toast. The biscuit was good. Ambience is decent. I then got 2 chocolate chip cookies, the white chocolate pistachio color, and a cinnamon bun to go. The cookies were incredibly average. The cinnamon gun was loaded with glaze so that was good. It could is been a tad better with the quality of the dough that was used. Overall I would come back again.

This place was busy when we came. The line was out the door. The lady taking orders was overwhelmed. I could tell she was dealing with the line as well as to go orders. It took 50 minutes for our food to arrive. Our server was wonderful and very polite. The food was better than the food at our hotel but not good enough to wait so long for it. When we eat here in the future we will probably just get a to go order.

I am a vegan and when I ordered the Farmington sandwich without cheese the last two times it was delicious and the servers are really polite. The fresh squeezed orange juice is amazing. These guys are interested in treating people right and it shows. I also had a fantastic cup of coffee with almond milk so I kept coming back. Brian Gomez was super polite and loves talking with kind people. Happy New Year Cornerstone Bakery & Cafe!

One of the best in Ruidoso! Be prepared for a line on the weekends, but the wait is well worth it. The staff is always incredible and the food is outstanding. Bonito biscuits and gravy and Chile Relleno Omelette especially. Cornerstone is a staple of all of our trips to Ruidoso.

Once again, Aiden & Haile were fantabulous! Haile assisted my wife building her order according to her dietary restrictions. Aiden was very busy, but he & Amy made a point of stopping by our table. Emma was also very busy, but very attentive to our drinks. Another gold star for Emma was when we were parking. She was running across the parking lot after a male customer to give him his ballcap.
